no sleep lately

2 nights ago Beckam decided to cry all night from 2a.m.-7a.m. it was so sad his eyes were so red and puffy. It was also a little hard on Greg and I but we muscled thru it. He finally went to sleep when I took the kids to school at 7:30 we came home I put a movie on for Isaac and next thing I know its 1:00...time to pick up the kids from school.
The crying marathon was about to begin again the next day but I stuck him in the office and made him cry till he fell fast asleep.
Now its time to take care of little Isaac with a fever and some throwing up...but its 10:30 and he's good spirits now.

On another note. The Christmas tree is up and the holiday is in full swing. YEAH!!

A little smile

Finally got the smile on film.

He's a little mover and makes for a blurry photo but I still love it

Sunday Funday

These days can be long sometimes but most of the time they are fun...from making crafts to decorate for Christmas to sledding after church and to gluing paper to your ears to be batman...for these are our Sundays.

And finding my slides from my first photo class.

the blizzard a few days late

There was warning that a blizzard was coming the day before Thanksgiving. I mean we even got a phone call from the city telling us to be careful and to not park on the road for snow removal.
We finally got the snow but I wouldn't say it was a blizzard just a regular snow day. The kids were elated when they saw it this morning. How could they not be excited we have a hill in the backyard its perfect for sledding and I don't have to go anywhere. I can stay home and be WARM and they can do all the sledding they want!!!!

Thanksgiving

I had a challenge this week to photograph a dessert. It was fun to think about it and what I wanted and show. In the midst of all of our conversations going on I heard Mary say where is the plate the lasted the fire so, I thought I would photograph it with the yummiest dessert that everyone eats on thanksgiving day...pumpkin pie!

What a beautiful day. It was fun to watch everyone get together to feast on all the food that was prepared by everyone. It was so GOOD and so many things to be thankful for.

Time to pull out the games and a puzzle.

a lot on my mind

This is my journal its my way of remembering. I don't scrapbook anymore and the journaling just didn't happen and now I have combined both. On a daily basis I think about a blog post as I have recognized my surroundings more and want to document it all but sometimes I just don't have the time.
So, some random thoughts I have had in the last few weeks.

I got in the Tahoe the other day, just after driving Greg's car for a few days, and found my radio stationed on talk radio...I smiled thinking Greg will find his stationed on 99.5 or something like that. I use it for music not learning...though some of the topics are interesting to listen to.

Up next on this mind of mine. I constantly feel overwhelmed, stressed, happy, thankful and grateful and its all been a little much. I'm not sure what to do. I miss having my old house but enjoy the new beginning that we are going thru. Honestly, we have had so much fun together since we have moved here. I wouldn't want to trade that. I also don't seem to have time for anything lately. It seems there is always a list of to do's. Beckam needs constant attention but with the attention I give him it does take me away from the worldly stuff and I get to enjoy playing with the baby...cuz, he will grow up fast. I also wanna lose weight and wish I was better with my diet. I have a tooth that still needs to be fixed. I've been getting migraines the last few days. Ugh!!! Just be happy right...K so I have been saying that to myself daily. It hasn't worked!
And the lesson for today was to serve. Serving someone will take this all away...he he!
I hope to find some way to serve to get grounded its a little bit of chaos and I hope to find out what will work. Take a deep breathe! Awe!

School assignments and other stuff this week

As the kids get older there are more and more projects and it seems I can't keep up with them, sometimes I wonder...am I doing a good job as my role in this learning process for the kids. Crossing my fingers!

And some of the projects.
Gabe mummified a barbie and then a polly pocket, then taught Bryn how to do it.

And this is Bryn's project about Utah climate, she choose a dessert.
Gabe loved helping her on this too.
Her Utah County project

Both Gabe and Bryn had some class plays they were in

...in other news. $4000 of dental work needs to be done on my teeth and that's not braces folks. It's a root canal and a gum graft soon...as in asap or I could loose my 2 bottom front teeth...Yea! Fun for me.

and in closing Gabe and Bryn had a soccer game together tonight and they won/creamed/annihilated/squashed the other team...so, yes they had fun and it was fun for me to watch them play together.

Enjoyed the Rain

It was nice to stay at home and cozy up...until the kids got home...they had swimming lessons. I also had fun taking a photo of the rain.

Mommy Moment

I had my friend Steph photograph me with Beckam. Even though its with Beckam its how I felt with all my kids. I love these kinds of moments captured...this is why I had her do it. I will ever be so grateful.

Weekend Entertainment

Beckam became the focus of the entertainment. The kids had a good laugh.

And some crazy hair.

Scary stories were told at the dinner table while eating cereal...the typical meal on the weekends.

And then playing with our food at breakfast time and making it a point to show me so that I could take a picture and put it on the blog (Bryn's idea).
