A little Spring Break Action!

It started out pretty grim for little Isaac. He got sick Sunday night and had a fever, cough, cold, soar throat and very little diet for 5 days. He's still recovering today...too tired to finish out church.

We spent a few days up at a cabin in Heber. We've been looking forward to this for some time now and its finally here. The kids invited some friends and I invited a few families to come up with us and some how it happened that all the men where working or at school so Greg was alone man :) he didn't mind he worked on one of the nights we were there.
I chatted with the girls while the kids ran around the house playing steel the flag. It was such a big house that it was a perfect game to play. There was also a theater room, pool table, ping pong, and a jacuzzi for some fine entertainment as well.

What else did we do? Oh yeah, Gabe had a game and they tied. He was going for a goal and got fouled and so he got a P.K. but he gave it to another player because he got hurt. But they scored from it. Way to Gabe for playing your heart out.

And Beckam jumping, he kept hitting his head on the ceiling, a few jumps and he learned.

He loves to be the entertainment.

I got this dress from trade work...Elyse LOVES it.

I joy in watching her grow up. She is really a very sweet, strong willed little one. I'm excited to see what's in store for her and the rest of the kids.

Easter Weekend

Its been a day full of soccer games, sunburns, a photo shoot, and an Easter egg hunt in the dark using flashlights...what a day to remember.

What!!! Its March.

Are you kidding me. I have a lot to talk about.

Isaac's Birthday. He's 6 now!
Isaac says funny things.
Elyse has started voice lessons. She LOVES it!
Beckam is talking. He says. Ewe gross, thank you (more like kank u) Gabe (Dabe) Bryn (Byn) Elyse (sometimes is Eese) and Isaac is Iyaac, he can say ball, buckle, ba ba, & kinkie (for binkie)
Soccer started.
Bryn wants to tryout for the premiere team.
Gabe as discovered he loves art.
Bryn had her first game Saturday...they won.
She got 2 goals from defense. 
Beckam got the first burn of the season and I feel so bad for not covering him up. He also drank some after shave and had to call poison control, they wanted me to keep an eye on him for an our to make sure he wasn't so called drunk. He was fine and smelled really good :)
Bryn also has a little stocker. A boy came over to see if Bryn had his homework. I said to him "why would she have your homework?" He said, "I don't know they (Bryn and Aubrey) where playing games with me."
She was at soccer practice so, I checked her bag, it wasn't there. I told him he could come back by when she gets home. He did. He knocked shortly after she was home, thankfully Greg was there, I was out picking up Gabe, she didn't want to answer but he kept ringing the bell and even walked in the back yard to look thru the window to see if she was there. Well, he knew she was home because he was watching the house. He told her that. She is really creepted out by him, I am as well.
This is really odd behavior for a 10 year old don't you think? And, she has no idea how he knows where she lives...she thinks he may have followed her home from school.
He's done it to her friend Aubrey as well, he rode her bus home. WEIRD!  

Its been warm outside and so therefore the kids are very dirty and stinky.

Today Isaac is 6.

He has been looking forward to this day for so long. It seemed like forever to be 6.

We planned a Star Wars Birthday Party.
I hear it all starts with the invitations... to set up all the excitement. 
And with a little help from Gabe and his friends it was a success.

 

 

Some of the things we love about Isaac.
He's my best buddy.
He loves to play video games and has discovered Lego Star Wars.
For his birthday he got Lego Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Batman...he's in video game heaven. he just can't get enough play time.
He's says the most random things like:
I don't like computers because my teacher has a fat butt.
A pickle for a weirdo.
I hate soccer because that boy runs on his toes.

He also has a girlfriend in his class. Her name is Katelyn. I think I need to meet this little Katelyn. She sounds cute!

 
For food we had Yoda Soda (sprite with sherbet) Light Sabers (pretzels with fruit roll ups wrapped around them) and then had Padowan Pizza's
