Beckam

This little guy is growing so fast....he is already 5 months old, sitting up and rolling over. He just recently had a well check and he weighs 17 lbs. 72% on his weight 38% on his height and his head is 34%. So in all, he is short and fat but I just can't get enough of those chubby thighs.

Photos galore

Holding hands

Isaac loves to hold Beckam's hand...like ALL the time.

Brynlee the Mom

She said to me one time "I kind of feel like Beckam is my baby cuz, I love to take care of him." and she does. She is such a big help with him. I am so grateful when she can see a need and fills it by picking him up and playing with him or just to change his diaper. Now, all the kids love to help but Bryn really takes it upon herself to really take care of him on her own.

Family Service Project

This year was perfect for our family. The service was to be done within your own family and then to find someone in your neighborhood to serve. We went to visit an old lady named Betty Seely, we talked and sang her some songs.
As for the service in our family we drew out names and for a week served those names anonymously. We all really enjoyed it, it was the focuse on for the week. The results were felt in the heart...we all loved it. Thanks Scott & Jamie for such a wonderful idea.

Later we all meet on a Monday night and talked about our results and had a Family Home Evening.
while taking photos I stumbled upon this gem
then Nate
and Hailey

And celebrated Greg's Happy Birthday

Greg did he traditional Tepanyaki dinner. The kids ask and look forward to this meal. Its a once in a year thing for us...its fun and we love it. Thanks Mom and Dad for having a such a great tradition.

A Foggy Christmas Eve

Rudolph was needed last night to make deliveries it was FOGGY!

Christmas was wonderful there was so much JOY and Gratitude it was peaceful.

We didn't open presents until 8:00 however I did not want to get up...I was tired, Beckam was up fussing every hour from 1 til 6 and the sad thing is he is such a fun cute little boy, I don't talk about that much because a lack of sleep is always on the brain. I know it will change soon, just gotta see what we can do for him.
I cheered up as I saw the joy in their faces...everyone so excited to have Christmas here, so excited in fact that they didn't get much sleep last night either.
Later we had the yummy brunch at Nana and Grandpa's and played some games. Relaxing and fun and that's how Christmas should be. And now, I'm tired and should go to bed but I just need a break...so, I blog!!!

O Christmas Tree

Its been on my mind for some time now. This is the time I enjoyed decorating my house, or the house we used to live in. It was one of the times Greg was excited to get into decorating the tree. To me there was something about having that tree, fresh cut, large and beautiful. I marveled at it as I walked past it everyday and looking at all its glory. I wish I could walk in the front door and take another look. I know the house gave us grief at times but I sure did love the changes that happened. I know I have to move on and I will but just had to say what was on my mind.

I do have to say it was so easy to set up the tree this year, fake and prelit.
Here's a look at all the decorations that are up around the house. This year the kids did most of the decorating. Everything on the tree was chosen by them and made by them.
I joy in looking at Christmas trees ever since I was a girl and this just makes my heart melt to see all the ornaments that have been made with pride by these children.

A visit from her teacher

Elyse told me it was Miss Ralstons last day of school, she cried that night in bed missing her already.
Miss Ralston came to visit Ely and took her to get some ice cream...she will forever remember this visit. We love our teachers!

Ely finished Charlette's Web last night, she cried when Charlotte died. Isn't that so sweet?! This girl has a big heart she probably cries at least once a day. I know that most of the time I can't stand because it seems to come out so quickly but if I sit back and take a breather she might really heart broken.

Its how the boys watch him

I had a good laugh when I saw this the other day.
Beckam was spitting all over Gabe's arm to.
I thought it was funny. Beckam enjoyed his raspberries, he's actually pretty good at them, spit goes flying everywhere.

A Beautiful Lesson

I loved the Relief Society lesson today...what are my spiritual gifts?
I have always believed the church is true it started from a young age.
I remember when I was a teenager making the promise to always do right so I can be married in the temple. The gospel has made my life so wonderful. I have been richly blessed by living it.

Some goals I have this week:
Read my scriptures or study the conference talks.
Go to the temple.

Lets Play Soccer

We LOVE to play indoor soccer. I wish I could pay for this all the time and for everyone. Its just how much we love it.
This particular game was a little rough. We won 11-3 and at the end of the game all the kids on the other team where crying...most of us where hurt.
Bryn thought they where being mean on purpose but they just didn't know how to play and kept hacking at the ball, or what they thought was the ball when it was really their shins & feet.
The other team is a family team and they didn't have any subs, its probably why they where crying, tired and hurt. Its too bad I think the ref could have done a better job.

I wish I could post this series with motion so you could see the shot. It was awesome and I'm proud of myself that I got it too.

Bryn will take a few shots from defense...she's got a hard shot and can make them sometimes.

Love to see them playing together

I'm sure this was after a goal.
