Bryn is 10

Love this girl. She has a blast at her parties and love to plan them. And I have now decided no more individual birthday parties we are going to do one big bang for the year and its going to fun to plan with the kids. Anyways on to Bryn's birthday this year she wanted and ipod touch so, we pooled as much money as we could to make it work and she only has $40 dollars to earn for it..she has already paid $20. She was so happy to get it as you will see in the photos...when I can edit them. I accidentally shot in RAW and that's an oops because I don't have the latest version of CS to support the file so, I will leave with you the announcement.

I'm in LOVE

with photography. I'm sure you wouldn't have guessed.

A little confession.
I will sometimes sit at my computer and just stare at the photos I've taken. It brings with it so many memories that flood into my mind.

That's what photography is for me.

It really makes me happy.

Yep 10 weeks ago this little guy was born and now he has discovered his hands...he's growing up sniff sniff.

And here are some of his newborn shots that I forgot to post.

and one of me with him.

10.10.10

I had to post today because it's 10-10-10 and how cool is that. I'm always telling Greg to look at the time like if it's 3:33 or if I could have waited long enough Beckam could have been born on 8-9-10. Yea I know its 3rd grade humor but since I've started it I've gotta keep it going.

Okay, so I will make a real post out of it and talk about these MUDDY BOYS. Gabe did it and now Isaac has. I've yet to see Beckam follow in their footsteps.
It just makes me smile...now they've made a few attempts again and didn't succeed but somehow there last attempt worked and again they were muddy.

They thought it was funny to get their bums muddy.

Just being silly.

Now its time to have everyone join in and get completely covered with mud.

Thinking its fun.

...and now its cold

A month flown by

This month was survival for me. We got word that we where to move out of our home by the 18th of Sept. It all happened so quickly that it took us by surprise.
While it was a time to act I froze. I just had a baby, only 4 weeks ago, and this was the last thing on my mind (it really wasn't even on my mind). Greg took action and found us some homes to look at in the area close to the school the kids attend. The first house we looked at ended up being the one we wanted and got. Its smaller but we are so happy to be in it. We have been here for 2 weeks now and love it and because we are so close to our old neighborhood and in the same school district it didn't feel like we moved (accept for the mess in the garage and all the boxes around the house). It has been a blessing for me to be strong for myself and for the children. The move alone was emotionally and physically, mostly physically, exhausting. There were times that I felt like just falling to the ground in the fettle position to cry and then sleep. With having the newborn I was exhausted. But hey its over now and I'm all rested!
Here's to the next chapter in life. Yeah!

In the photo: Bryn, Lydia, Megan, Abby, Emily and Dillan in the back row.

Bryn's cute little friends just before we were completely out of the house. What great memories we will have.
As I was packing my bedroom window was open and I was listening to there conversation. They were telling their top secrets to each other and I just remember Abby's was about a boy she liked and to not tell anyone.

I can't forget about all the help we had...especially from the children!
We really did receive a lot of help from everywhere. We seriously have the best friends and neighbor's in the world. We had people making us dinner, taking Beckam off of my hands for me to pack and then I had Jamie helping me with it all too. Boden was trooper thru it all too. Really I am so blessed to know such wonderful people. It brings tears to my eyes from all the love that was given us during this time.

Beckam's Blessing Day

It was an emotional day. I knew it was the last Sunday I would be with this ward.
In the time we have lived here we have made so many wonderful friends and I was sad to leave them. I have learned a lot from so many thru example and word and I will never forget. I will never forget this experience in my life and am thankful for people I was blessed to meet.

Beckam's blessing

Journal Entry:

Today I gave Beckam a baby blessing and as I normally attempt to do, I didn’t’ think about what I should say until I began. As best I can remember, this is what I felt prompted to bless him with. After giving his name of Beckam Aaron Bishop, I gave the following blessing:

I bless you during this sojourn on earth to remember your lineage. You are a son of our Father in Heaven and have the right, privilege, opportunity and work to do to return to our Father in Heaven and to become like Him. I bless you with the gift of insight to remember your family – both your immediate family as well as all your brothers and sisters throughout the world. As you remember this family you can prepare others to return with you to our Father in Heaven and have joy and love on this earth. I bless you with this along with a gift of charity and love.

Jess later got up and bore her testimony which was amazing. She did an excellent job and had mixed emotions that came out: joy from a new child, and sadness for saying goodbye to so many great friends.
