Responsible

Isaac did not sleep last night or the night before. It was 3:00 am before he finally decided to sleep. Greg got the kids up at 6:00 and then told me was leaving for work.
I wanted to cry I am too tired to get up and take care of the kids. So he told them that I didn't get very much sleep last night so to take care of yourselves and that they did.
Gabe came in about 8:00 and told me he was ready for school and to not worry about them that they would make sure they made it to the bus on time...and they did. I am so in love with these kids. I am so amazed at what they realy can do when you give them that agency. I have to say that Gabe has gotten himself a cool watch ans he uses the alarm all the time. It makes him very prompt. He is just like his Dad give them some cool technology and they are VERY reliable.

The best part is being able to ride the bus to school.

...and 2 days ago Elyse was put on the wrong bus. It's a good thing we have so much family around because everyone was very concerned about her and trying to find her. Thank you Bryn for making sure she got on the right bus and everyone else Bryton, Baylie, Kloey, & Brayden.

Elyse started kindergarten on monday and this is how it went.
Catch the bus at 11:45 and that was close.
Off to school.
I head to D.I. to find some great deals on a chair but no luck.
While Jamie and Andrea are waiting for the arrival of the kids just to check on them.
They get dropped of late and away from the class and all the kids come running out of the bus.
Well lets say they made it just fine. It really was wierd how it all went. I will post some pictures later for the first day of school for Elyse. And as for Gabe and Bryn well they are too old for me to be taking any of these dumb pictures.

Tantrums

I had this idea for my Isaac being that he is 2 and what a beautiful age. He held it for all about 2 seconds and then an actual tantrum came out about a go-gurt of which he loves. He could eat this stuff all day long. So, I got him the go-gurt and then he saw some cookie dough. I told him he would have to eat his go-gurt first. So he did. The cookie was coming but it wasn't BIG (is what he calls it). He was on the floor for about 20 minutes...and then it was over.

Better late than never

Fun times at the Park City Reunion. I am going to list a few.

-Rock Band
-Staying up late
-Sleeping next to cousins
-Making lip balm
-Making rockets to launch
-Going shopping and trying to find our way home (I was driving)
-Can't forget the swimming
-Eating a bunch of junk
-Playing games
-The best part was staying in a gorgeous home.

I'm sorry I post with so many pictures but I figure it's better for me to show the fun than try to explain it (for those of you that know me I am not a good writer).

This is the house and the view

Wow I think that's all...well at least that is all the pictures I took.

He did it

Gabe loved rock climbing but you would have never guessed from all the whinning that came out of his mouth. He did make it to the top (if you look close enough he is the tiny speck up there). I love that he pushed through and did it. I think they get tired of me saying whatever you put your mind to you can do it (experience is so powerful). I have to say that Bryn did an amazing job too she climbed right next to me and she was fast. She zoomed right past me. Good Job!

He was ready to do it again.

How about

Some catching up! It's too bad that I neglect my family blog so much and as Julie would say "I can see whats more important" I'm always on my photography blog.

School starts on Monday and yea!!! for school. You know when it's time when the kids are each others throats. The non stop fighting that can occur from no structure. So, since school is starting I have just discovered that I am so many plans, many things I can get done. It feels like a new year a fresh start.
These are the following plans: Exercise in the morning (before you do anything else), study scriptures, finish painting the house, organize, get rid of all that junk, and last but not least have some structure.

I want to leave you with some photos from the St. George trip we just took. We did a little Rock Climbing, and spelunking. Good Times!

What we did on the 4th

We did a camp out at Grandma's & Grandpa's on the 3rd. It all started with a bounce and then a swim and then to end the night with a movie outside (the Bee Movie). The next day started with a yummy breakfast and then some more swimming...and more swimming. I really didn't do much but watch the kids and I was EXHAUSTED. It was a big hit we hope to do it again next year.

Fishing

Uncle Nate invited us fishing...umm okay let's give this a try. We don't have any gear so Greg came up with something on his own all you need is to borrow some fishing line a hook and some bread. Here are the results.

Can you see it? I gave you a hint.

3 days late for the actual Birthday. It was the same for Elyse we could have family come over luckily fo us we have a big family. We had yet another BBQ but this time we had some bounce houses up and they played their guts out and that started around 3 until about 8 (long time but they slept good).

What we love about Elyse
-so carefree
-willing to share everything she has (even her new scooter)
-loves to spend time with people, mostly older ones, her best friend is Ashley next door who is in her twenties
-has the cutest laugh
-loves to play games with her siblings

What we love about Gabe
-his very big heart
-always willing to do the right thing
-takes good care of his siblings...even if they bother him
-he is VERY handsome
-loves to earn money
-very determined
-good at negotiating of which I don't enjoy and Dad thinks it's funny
-gets his chores done and then I don't see him the rest of day because he's with his buddies
-very smart...and that he takes after his Dad
-I think he is going to be an engineer when he grows up
