Easter Egg Hunt

We had the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Grandpa's and Nana's house. It was a treat it's always something the kids look forward to. First off we started with conference and it seemed that every hour they asked when was it time to go. We finally made it over to Grandpa's house we waited while the Dad's hid the eggs and Gabe was helpful too, he's too old for the hunt.

...and they're off

I love the expression on his face and how fast he was moving to pick up as many eggs as he could.
Time to examine how many eggs he has already found. Looks like there was too many. He doesn't look very happy to put them back.

Getting the talk about sharing

Isaac found his Real egg to redeem at the prize station.

The prize station: Toys

Later they were told to find more eggs and supposedly there was one in the car. I don't think he found it.

As I was taking pictures of Isaac. Gabe and Bryn were helping others to find eggs and play games.

Trying to find ways to get shots of Gabe.

Some Ely Cuteness

All I can say is I love these kids more than I think they even imagine. They are constantly in my thoughts, dreams, and prayers. I am grateful I have a talent to capture them on film so that I can remember the stillness of these little ones because it is true they grow up fast. They bring so much joy to me and I'm sure Dad too (I just write this in MOM perspective). I love to watch him play and teach you guys. I have been truly blessed with a beautiful family.

What is great about Elyse:

She smiles thru anything
She has a beautiful spirit that brings so much JOY to everyone around her
I love to hear her laugh and giggle
She has the best one liners
And wonderful stories about her day
I love the she wants to be a mom when she grows up. She has just recently put being a rock star on hold because she didn't want that to interfere with her being a mother.
We are so blessed with such a sweet spirit in our home.
We (the family) love you Ely

It's Friday Night...

and I'm bored. I know it's 11:40 p.m. and the only thing I am looking forward to is Greg's soccer game.
Let's see if a fight happens this time. Last time a guy on the other team punched our keeper and was handed a red card (he's out for 2 games). See, it's a lot to look forward to -right!

So, the game was fun a little frustrating but not the less it's good to get out. It's been said that the over 30 league is the most aggressive. This league has the most people who get red cards and the most fights and I think it's because they are older and can't control their bodies they don't have that young body they used to play with and have got to use temper to get what they need. It's actually very funny! Greg is the most even tempered on the team.

Rub a Dub!

I had to get some shots in the tub before Isaac gets to old for it and then it would be a little inappropriate. I just love shots in the bathtub. It's the place that any child loves to be in and can play for hours.

The week in review

Soccer, soccer and more soccer. Bryn scored 2 goals in her game and Ely assisted a goal and Gabe's games starts next week. We can't forget Greg...he scored 3 goals this week. I hosted a high fashion photography workshop this weekend and I am so happy that it's over.

Oh yes, we can't forget that we had the Doctor apt. to see the gender of the baby and....
It's a BOY!
I know the news has already been announced thru facebook or texting but had to put it down for the book. We are super excited.
Everyone came to the ultrasound to see the baby in the belly and it was cool for about 5 minutes...then they were pretty much done.
He looks very healthy and all is going well.

Torture

It looks like it starts at an early age. I got this battery pack for my studio light and it had this charger in it. Isaac found it and decided he needed to put it on Kitty.

Always a Big Brother

Sometimes being a BROTHER is even better than being a SUPERHERO. ~Marc Brown

So, I pulled out the camera and Gabe let me get a shot of him but the first 10 where crazy talking expressions. So, we laughed and kept trying for more but then he said to me "I hope you don't post these."
Here is a good shot for you.

Bryn will take care of it

Saturday night the kids wanted to watch a movie instead of going to bed...I mean who wants to go to bed anyways? We made an agreement that when the show is over there will be no fights about getting into bed and that you just do it (get in bed).
The show was over and Bryn gave Ely and Isaac piggy back rides to their rooms and tucked them into bed. She is amazing! Give her something that she wants and she will now follow thru. What happened did she grow up over night.

I am so happy about the photo above. I think it was 2 years back when the kids couldn't handle being touched by their siblings I said, "no more together shots." But since, I have been looking thru old scrapbooks I have missed the connections that they do have with each other.
My new goal is to get more shots of the kids together and so far it has worked...crossing my fingers.
These 2 girls have the sweetest connection. They will play all night together in their room (while they should be sleeping).I love to hear their role play and when they call out "mom" i'm not really sure if I should answer or not.
I hope this connection they have will stay with them forever.

A note I found today while trying to catch up on my scrapbooking.

Dear Dad and Mom
thank you for helping me with homework. thank you for helping me with soccer. thank you letting me go to school and church. thank you for letting me have the hannah montana movie. thank you for a bed. thank you for a room. thank you for clothes.

The Pain

Just one more post for today...maybe. I plan on doing some photos of Ely soon.

Last night as I got in bed my I pulled my round ligaments and laid there in pain for about 10 minutes it really felt like they were contractions. You see, I don't know what contractions fill like naturally because I have been started in all of my pregnancies.
I have been having this problem from the beginning but it hasn't been so bad until now and it's getting progressively worse...it has worried me a little. I will be seeing the Doc soon with all my questions and finding out the gender too. We will see what he says.

Gabe and soccer

Gabe has practice everyday for 2 hours and he LOVES it. He is ready for a Triple A team. We have been working on him to getting on one of his friends team from school but for now he is practicing with them everyday. Today (a Saturday mind you) Gabe got up at 7:30 to get ready for is 9:00 practice. After I picked him up he said they ran 6 laps around the track at the high school and he started out first and only 2 people passed him. He is so happy and very proud of himself for his hard work. He has developed so much in the last year that he is become a different boy. He still has that BIG heart and it is fun to see him grow into a young man. He really is a good kid.

Just had to add one of Beckham because he is so HOT! It's okay Greg knows my feelings. The other day I was giving him some suggestions as to some boy names that I liked and this one came out. I don't think he took me very serious but I am.

Gabe and I went to this game a few years ago it was pretty cool. There were so many REAL supporters wearing Beckham jersey's...it was a little off.
Yes, I took this picture and I wish I would have gotten more even if that meant kicking people out of the way that were getting shots too.

Hide-n-seek

We have been playing this game a lot around here lately. The rule is I count to 16 and then come find him. He does find some good hiding spots but he giggles the whole time so you know exactly where he is. The kids also play this with him and he loves it just the same.

Pantry

It's the place to go for snacks and it mostly happens when Tye is over. This time I think it lost it's flavor when the light can be turned on because it was way more fun when you had to bring in all the flashlights.

Me at 17 weeks

Well here it is the first pregnant photo...not too much of a belly it's just the fatness coming out. At first I had gained 15 lbs and I started to freak out a little and now I am down to 10...much better.
