Guitar Heros Anyone?

Anything can be a guitar to this little one he will use a stick or a bat just whatever he can find. He loves to cheer and jump around...umm...I think he could become a rockstar or the next American Idol. Elyse tells me everday that she is going to be a rockstar like Hanna Montanna.

Gabe too loves this game maybe someday I will get around to recording him playing.

It's totally in his blood born and bread to work the construction life. He loves everything about it from his most prized hammer all the way to the tractors.

Soccer

So, here it is Gabe and I went to the Salt Lake Real soccer the a couple weeks ago for our date...and we loved it. We as a family went a couple days before that and their wasn't very many people supporting but when Becham came it was crazy. It was wierd in a way so many people wanting to see Becham but 100% wanting Real to win which was a very close game tying 2-2. We even waited afterwards for some autographs but Becham didn't come out to sign and Gabe was a little devastated but all in all we had a great time. Oh, and Gabe did tell me he is going to be better than Becham. You go for it!

Gabe has soccer tryouts for the comp team tomorrow. We hope it goes well.

{ Mother's Day }

Mother's Day start out for me on Friday. I got the very special gifts from the kids when they came home from school. It started out with a few tears with Gabe, Brandon a little neighbor of ours told him his gift was stupid and I could beg to differ. I loved it! Elyse made hers special for me and it says I Love You on it. Bryn's was a special note pad that also says I love you. I have to tell that is my most favorite part of mother's day the had made gift from those precious children.

Special Day

Photobucket

Bryn asked me if she could go running with me the next time that I went. So, has I was getting ready on thursday she reminded me that she still wanted to go. Now keep in mind this is our little girl that needs to be carried everywhere and has adopted the line "I'm tired" I told her that it will be a long time and she insisted taht she will not whine and run the whole time...and she did. We went 2 miles I am quite proud of her she is growing up. I think she thought it was cool to be able to run with her ipod.

Bryn also had a her special date with dad. She decided to go to the movie and see Nim's Island (loved it) and came home with a sucker bouquet.

Gabe's Short Story

The Three
Kids
and the
Big
Bad
Baby
-by Gabe Bishop
Once upon a time there were three kids making houses. The first kid wasn't that smart so he built his house out of straw. The second kid was a little smarter but still built his house out of sticks. The third kid was the smartest out of his brothers and built his house out of bricks because he new there was a big bad baby living by them. One day the baby set off down the road. Once he got to the 1st kids house and knocked on the door and he said let me in and the kids said not by the words of my mother and father. So, the baby said then I'll huff and I'll puff and blew his house down so the kid ran to his brothers house that was made out of sticks. When the baby got there he said let me in and they said not by the sticks of our very strong house. So the baby said then I'll huff and I'll puff and blew their house down. So the kids ran to their smartest brothers house. When the baby got there he said let me in but the kids said not by the bricks of our very own house. So the baby huffed and he puffed but couldn't blow the house down. So the baby said I'm tired of all this huffing and puffing would you like to be my friend and they said "Yes" and they lived happily ever after.

Catch up time

I had plans to post every Sunday and I think I missed 2 now. Let me see if I can do some catch up.

First of all at the beginning of March Gabe bore his testimony the first time and he loved it. He felt so good after he came down from the pulpit he wanted to go do it again. I was so proud of him for getting up the courage to express his little testimony to everyone in the ward. He is on brave cookie. I love watching him step out of the box and make his growth. You are very inspiring!

We now have sheetrock...YEAH! It looks amazing. I love it. The mud and tape will be next and then I think it's my turn to paint.

I hosted a clothing party at my house Friday & Saturday and worked very hard to get some marketing material out their for people and I think it was a flop. I have completely exhausted myself so I may be pretty lazy this week.

We look forward to having Eric & Kim visiting us this coming weekend for the week it will be a lot of fun!

That's about all for now.

New Lense Easy Subject

I just got a new lense and I wont tell you how much I paid but it has been worth it so far. I had to give it a try and what a better way to practice on my easy going little subject...Elyse. I do have to say Gabe is pretty easy too photograph but as for Bryn and Isaac they give me a little run for my money but when I do get that photo you can see far into their sweet soul that I just cherish that one photo. I am so lucky to have found what I love because I get to document my children growing up thru my Lense.

Construction Zone Ahead

Okay, so we are all getting ready for church and Isaac is in construction mode. He is constantly working with is tools. I love it! He just got some for his birthday. He is so determined to do his part in fixing the house and every time Greg gets out the tools and gets things set up for working Isaac is right beside him with the same tool that he can use. I am not sure what will happen when we are finished with Phase 1 (as Greg calls it).

I thought it was a great picture moment to get some shots of him working in his church clothes (Isaac we don't work on Sunday).

Happy Birthday Issac! Dad and I attended a photography workshop yesterday so you haven't gotten the official celebration yet but when it happens your gonna love it. I can't believe that it's already happened...2 years has gone by and we have loved watching you grow into a funny, sweet, little ball of energy. You have this energy about you that is extremely contagious and it gets everyone to join in just to have some fun (natural born leader). You are definately a daddy's boy (his little shadow). The second he gets home you have a hammer in hand ready to have Dad work with you (so many projects). You love to mimic everything he does. You are also very good with a ball. You just might be our little sports guy.

What 4 year olds say

My little "E" has the funniest lines that I need to write down more so I would like to share a few for now.

"Look the sun is white" this was just after the sun had set and the moon was out.
"Mom, did you see my magic eyes" Elyse
mom says "No, I missed it can you do it again."
Elyse "No, it takes along time."

I have to add another cute phrase. When she needs some treats she just wants a "puny bit" thats all mom just a "puny bit"

Catching up a little

Okay, so I am taken back with this little one because every night I get to sing him a lullaby. When I decided to take away the binki I started to sing and he would fall right to sleep so it was easy to take that thing away. What's even better is that I get to soak in all the cuddles I want with him at night and I love it. I don't want him to grow up or any of them for that matter. I'm always told they grow up way too fast I really so I need to saok it all up. I love being a mommy I enjoy every good and bad moment. I would not trade this job for anything.

We went to temple square for this holiday season and I love this chruch and I am suprised at how well this picture took without a tripod. I love to start traditions and memories for the children. Christmas was such a special time for me when I was young I just want it to be special for my kids.

I had to take a picture of how well Bryn does whenI ask her to clean up (mind you this is on her own terms). She decided to organize her closet by colors. I love it!

It's Christmas
...and time to see the lights. These are my neighbors. We just moved her about 7 months ago and I have heard how much they go out for the holidays and its true. You tune into a radio station and the lights move to the music. So fun! It's like I'm a kid again I'm asking every night if the kids want to see the lights and of course they will say "YES". So there we are dancing to the music and watching the lights. Here are a few photos to show ya.

I have totally neglected my family blog and I have decided to devote some time to it. So next week after all of my last minute photo shoots are done I will make a post and I would really like to make a banner too.

Peace out. Until next time.

My Christmas Card

Thursday, January 18, 2007

Gabe broke his collar bone last Saturday sledding. He was going down the hill standing on the sled (snowboarding) and had turned backwards and collided into someone and their head hit into his collar bone giving it a clean break. He shed a lot of tears but still trying to be tough about it (while his friends are calling him a baby). Once we got to the instacare he was starting to get upset with me in letting him go. Then it turned into how am I going to write and go to school and then how am I going to play the XBOX. It was all over after realizing that he wouldn't be able to play for awhile.
He had a lot of visits from his friends, they felt pretty bad. The thing Gabe likes most is that his "friends are a lot nicer to him." he says.
I wanted to add to this. Later that night we were invited to a mascarde gala that was formal dress. We had been looking forward to going. The week before I went searching for a dress that could fit my body and I even found something but it had to be altered a little . My good friend Caryn took good care of me and did the work. I think the dress turned out pretty good. This is the part I wanted to add I had gone and got my hair done up and put my dress on and the girls loved it Bryn wants her hair just like mine and a dress too. Elyse was asking me if I was getting married.
Gabe seemed to be doing pretty well so we decided to go for awhile. It was a lot of fun. Dinner and dancing (we did a little and we even had some lessons on swing, we need a little help) but we had a great time.

Kid noises

Okay, so I got pretty uptight with the kids tonight and I told them I don't want to here any more kid noises. ie: "mom" repeated 30 times, crying, and fighting.
Isaac has been cuting a tooth and he has been crying for the last couple hours so we needed to go to the store to get the numbing gel for his gums. On our drive we had a really good talk about the kid noises.
It was pure bliss when we got home. I just needed to write about how awesme these kids are. We had dinner and Gabe just started to do the dishes and we were all working on how to talk nice to each other. Bryn asked what kind of kid noises that I do like. I love to here children laugh, the pitter patter of their little feet running, getting along with each other, and I love to here them tell each other stories about what they see in life.
Anyways I'm off to watch a movie.

A Warm Day

Curiosity

Wonder

Discover
So, it was like 66 degrees outside today. We played outside and went the store without a coat. It actually felt a little like spring. I not looking forward to it snowing. I'm okay with the first snowfall but after that it needs to stop. Actually it just needs to snow for Christmas and all will be perfect.
Anyways it was a day to make a photoshoot. I just thought these were so funny. It made my day (I got a good laugh from them). I am looking for the right picture of Isaac for a canvas that I want to use for some of my decorating.
I just need to say I don't do a very well job of writing. My writing doesn't flow (I need to make this a New Year's resolution). I actually did make some resolutions last year and have been successful in accomplishing them except for one - loosing weight.

I so love photography

I just love being able to catch the spirit of each and everyone of my children. I hope that I never here the comment " I'm the youngest thats why I don't have very many pictures".
A child is a beam of sunlight from the Infinite and Eternal

I can't decide wich one I like the most (color or B&W).

This is Gabe's costume for Halloween this year (it glows in the dark). We had a lot of fun taking these pictures (or maybe I did). I asked Gabe if he was willing and he said "No". Then I asked him if he would do something I like and I will do something he likes (to play the Xbox). He really liked that idea and when it came time for me to play with him dad was home and he wanted to play with him instead. Oh, well another day.

ROAR!

This costume is sooooo cute. Julie made it for Gabe and its now been past done to Isaac.

LOL!

I just wanted a break so I thought I would post. I have about 8 children running around my house. Gabe is out working on his hut with a few friends and I just caught Bryn and her friend writing on the wall with a marker (which they are now cleaning up). Isaac has gone down for a nap and Elyse just headed over to her friends house. Whoa CRAZY sometimes! I didn't realize that when we signed up for having children that it would come in doubles or triples by adding on the friends that they have.

When its nice weather outside we have quite a bit of chaos at our home. Kids running in and out leaving doors open jumping out of trees running across the street to talk to a friend leaving their mark on the wall and many more. Despite all this work I LOVE IT!

I finally decorated my house two days ago. When we moved here we said we were going to move quickly to get into our home (so I didn't wanat to put a lot of work into decorating). Well, things haven't gone as planned our home in Nephi didn't sell accordingly so 8 months later I decided to make this our home until we move again. When Bryn got up to go to school the next day and told me how nice the house looked (they notice).
I've got to go now my motherly duties are calling for Little Mermaid and FOOD!
